This launchpad program aims to improve employment opportunities by providing entry-level skills that prepare participants for roles in the Horticulture Industry.

Gain hands-on horticulture skills in this entry-level course and prepare for roles such as horticultural assistant, nursery or garden labourer, or simply grow your own garden with confidence.

Certificate II in Horticulture will teach you the fundamentals of planting, potting and maintaining trees, shrubs and plants, how to recognize plants, prepare plant specimens and provide information on products and services, and soil testing along with how to treat weeds, pests and diseases.
